It boasts a number of water-related activities such as Fremont State Lakes, a couple of airboat tour companies that will take you down the Platte River, and Splash Station Water Park, all here to help keep you cool during the humid Nebraska summers. Though, if you’re looking for more low-key outdoor activities, go pick some delicious apples at the Fontanelle Orchard, stop by the Dodge County Fair, in Scribner, to view the 4-H competitions, or experience something for everyone at John C. Fremont Days, held every July.
