Just a short 15 miles northwest of Fremont on Highway 77, Hooper, NE, founded in 1871, is a quaint community with deep agricultural roots. Visitors can discover the Historic District of downtown Hooper, developed in the 1890s, where they are greeted by the original street lighting, which is a wonderful preservation of their history. Organized by local boosters, the Elkhorn Valley Golf Club boasts a challenging and fun nine-hole grass greens golf course. Old Fashioned 4th of July Festival
