The 2023 Polar Bowl Weekend

9:00AM – THREE REGULAR GAMES
NOON: RE-OIL FOR MATCH PLAY
1:00PM – BRACKET MATCH PLAY
TEAMS WILL CONSIST OF FIVE MEMBERS, AND MUST INCLUDE ONE WOMAN AND ONE PERSON 45 OR OLDER AS OF DATE OF TOURNAMENT
All scoring will be scratch
USBC Certified event – all participants must be certified
Sport Lane Condition (posted week before event)
Brackets and side pots will be available
Unfortunately, NO JUNIOR BOWLERS may participate
Qualifying will consist of three team games, moving pairs after each game
After qualifying, all teams will be seeded into a 16 team single elimination bracket (1v16, 2v15, 3v14, 4v13, 5v12, 6v11, 7v10, 8v9)
Matches are in 5-person baker system, modified best-of-5 (race to 3) format
TOP 4 SEEDS MUST BE DEFEATED 4 TIMES TO BE ELIMINATED IN THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS

Based on 64 player field, field will be cut to 16 after qualifying Top 4 to stepladder, 5 thru 16 will roll off in modified eliminator format for final ladder position
