Make some delightful dangly earrings or a pendant/necklace! Learn basic metal preparation, bending, hammering, texturing, cold connections, and use findings like ear wires, jump rings, clasps, or bails to complete your jewelry. Lynette will guide you through developing skills with tools and how to create your own original and unique jewelry. Common tools, copper and silver sheets and wire, and equipment will be provided for use in class. Because the equipment is limited, if you have any of the following tools and supplies, please bring them to class for your own use: a small hammer, jewelry pliers, wire cutter, round nose plier, beads, crystals, 26 -16 gauge copper, brass, nickel, or silver wire.
Teaching Preschoolers to adults for over 38 years has brought Lynette Fast a breath of insight into creating art and the art of teaching visual arts. Lynette’s preferred mediums are jewelry making, metalsmithing, painting, drawing, sculpture, and pottery. Exhibiting regionally, Lynette presently has worked in three galleries and has shown her work in many galleries and exhibits throughout Nebraska over the past 17 years.
